[Premium] Optimus Prime Papercraft ver. Juancho Aran
Hello everyone, I've just realized that up till now,  most of my posts are about Gundam Papercraft. As a guy, I do like robot papercraft, and Gundam is the best of them. But today I have something new to share with you. This one is also a Robot papercraft, but from a different franchise: Transformers. Today papercraft is the leader of the Autobots: Optimus Prime.

I believe we're all familiar with the Transformers franchise. So I will start to say about the design of this model. As you can see, this design of Optimus Prime is custom-made. It doesn't come from any movie or book. Actually, this paper model was based on the Flame Toys Furai Model: Optimus Prime Attack mode. This model (and other Furai models) somehow make me think they're a combination between Gundam and Transformers. It's Transformers characters with Gundam's design style.

Paper model Adaptation

Because of this design, the model can't transform into a truck or any vehicle. In case you're wondering about wheels on his legs or exhaust pipes on his shoulder, then It's just a decoration. In exchange for that, We have Optimus Prime in excellent shape. We can make many dramatic poses without even trying.

I created gifs to show you how his body looks all around:

Full model

This paper model was designed by Juancho Aran. He's also the designer of the RX 78-2 Gundam Papercraft that I wrote about previously in my blog. The model is 45cm high (without weapons). You will need up to 52 pages in total to print the whole template for him.

One last thing, You can buy the template for $69. Contact Juancho Aran using the embed link I put in his name to go to his Facebook page. We don't know how long he will keep selling this, so be quick.

There are 2 types of equipment designed for this model: An axe and a rifle. But Juancho Aran didn't make the rifle, so all we have is Optimus Prime wielding his battle axe:

mjh1029 is sharing this template for free, so if you want to build one, you can find the download link at the bottom of this post.

Delta Plus Gundam is a variant of the Delta Gundam, which appears in the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.
Delta Plus is not the only Gundam that is developed from the Delta Gundam, another one is Hyaku Shiki, but unlike Hyaku Shiki, Delta Plus Gundam is transformable. It can transform into an aircraft in waverider mode (this SD Delta Plus is not transformable).

Although this is a cute little SD Papercraft, it still has all of the equipment for Delta Plus like a rifle, a shield and wings.

Here are the original pictures of mjh1029 (Zp). You can find the download link for its template at the bottom. Thank you for reading:

First of all, It's not Gundam. This Robot is based on an animated TV series called Hot-Blooded Strongest Go-Saurer. Second, I never watch this anime and all I know about it is: It's a combination of 3 mecha dinosaurs and piloted by a group of teenagers to defend the earth (Kinda like Voltron).

... and Thunder Brachio

The mecha dinosaurs are kinda simple, but the robot itself is cool, though. The thing that caught my eye is the use of gold metallic paper to create the effect of actual metal. I don't know what kind of paper that is, but it does its job very well, just look at it:

The model is 55cm tall and 64 cm wide. The template is divided into 7 parts: Head, chest, hip, legs, arms, backpack (wings) and weapons (sword and shield). In case you're wondering: It can't transform into 3 mecha dinosaurs.

This papercraft is very clean and neat. Pieces are glued together perfectly. The builder mjh1029 changed the color theme of it, and I totally like it. I don't have anything else to say about this papercraft, so here you are:
