[Free Template] Digimon Papercraft: Wargreymon and Wargreymon X
In the world of papercraft, there're plenty of Pokémon papercrafts, We can find hundreds of Pokémon papercrafts and most of them are free. But on the opposite side, there aren't many papercrafts about Digimon even though these are both popular animes in the 90s.

So in this post, I will introduce to you 2 models of my favorite Digimon: the Wargreymon and its evolution - Wargreymon X.

Wargreymon X and Wargreymon papercrafts
Wargreymon X Designer: Zhuang Yuanding
Wargreymon Designer: Jav papercráft
Builder: Tomly Hui

Yes, these papercraft come from 2 different designers and only one of them is free. You can download Wargreymon's template for free and I'll put the link at the bottom of this post as usual. The Wargreymon X is another story. It's designed by a Chinese designer, Zhuang Yuanding and he doesn't sell digital templates. The only way you can buy it is by ordering a printed template on taobao.com (No, I'm not gonna put the link for that, sorry).

Wargreymon Evolution

Even though these models come from 2 different designers, they look great together (although I gotta admit the Wargreymon X is a bit smaller than the Wargreymon in comparison).

Let's start with Wargreymon. The original Wargreymon design has many rounded and curved parts like shoulder pads, head, claws, and body. This papercraft is designed with many triangles as basic shapes, which makes it feel like this is a low poly papercraft.

Don't get me wrong! I like this design and I think the designer did a great job capturing the look of Wargreymon and still making it easier for people to build it. I believe rounded parts are always the most annoying parts to make in papercraft. Everyone hates that.

One more thing I like about this design is the pose. It's simple but still shows the most noticeable thing about Wargreymon: The giant claws.

This papercraft is available for quite some time and the design is good. But the thing that got me noticed is not the design but this particular build of Tomly Hui. He did it so well. The model is really neat and clean, every detail pops up well and the colors are bright and catch the eye.

You know I always like to talk about creative built and this is no exception, instead of flat red texture to pretend that there's a rope stitched around armor. Tomly Hui managed to create just one. I believe he used crepe paper to make the rope and glue it in place. If you turn it around you can see there're more on the legs, and the hair is probably built in the same way. Those things make his build unique and stand out.

One more thing about the wings. As you can see there's a sun symbol on the back of the wings. In the original design, this is just a flat printed texture. But here, Tomly Hui created it by putting yellow paper on top of grey paper. Then he cut out the sun texture to create a 2-layer symbol.

Now we'll talk about its evolution: The Wargreymon X. As you can see, this model is way more detailed and complicated than the Wargreymon. No wonder why it's a premium model. Every part of it is upgraded. Apparently, it'll take you so much more time to build compared to the Wargreymon.

He's still using crepe paper to make the hair, which is great. Here's a close look if you don't know what crepe paper is.

I don't know why but I run out of words to say about the Wargreymon X. So instead, I'll show you some close look pictures.

Here are some pictures of Wargreymon X's head, You can clearly see this one is much more detailed than the Wargreymon:

Here are some pictures of the head and torso together. There are some pumping pipelines above his chest.

In comparison with Wargreymon

Now with waist and legs. More pipelines are connecting the torso to the waist.

Shoulder pads and Claws:

Now Let's watch both models again and at the bottom of this post is the link to download the template for Wargreymon:

[Free Template] SD Delta Plus Gundam Papercraft ver. Zp
As I wrote about mjh1029 (Zp)'s model: Go-Saurer in my last post, I will continue to write about another model of him: SD Delta Plus papercraft.

SD Delta Plus Papercraft ver. Zp
Designer: mjh1029 (Zp)
Builder: mjh1029 (Zp)

(Please press SKIP  THIS AD, Sorry if it bothers you)

mjh1029 is sharing this template for free, so if you want to build one, you can find the download link at the bottom of this post.

Delta Plus Gundam is a variant of the Delta Gundam, which appears in the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.
Delta Plus is not the only Gundam that is developed from the Delta Gundam, another one is Hyaku Shiki, but unlike Hyaku Shiki, Delta Plus Gundam is transformable. It can transform into an aircraft in waverider mode (this SD Delta Plus is not transformable).

Although this is a cute little SD Papercraft, it still has all of the equipment for Delta Plus like a rifle, a shield and wings.

Here are the original pictures of mjh1029 (Zp). You can find the download link for its template at the bottom. Thank you for reading:
