[Premium] Barbatos Lupus Rex Gundam Papercraft ver. Hikaru11

Barbatos Lupus Rex Gundam papercraft

A few days ago, I saw this Barbatos Lupus Rex Papercraft on Facebook. It looks fantastic, and I thought I had to share this on my blog.

Talking about IBO Gundams, At the moment I can list some Gundams that are released like: Barbatos (ver. ART, ver. Amim, ver. Kai), Barbatos Lupus (ver.ART, ver. Hikaru11, ver. Amim), Barbatos Lupus Rex (ver. ART, ver. Hikaru 11), Vidar (ver. ART, ver. Hikaru11), Astaroth (ver. Gom Tting-e), Gusion Rebake Full city (ver. Hikaru11). This list doesn't contain all the designs out there and does not include SD versions. Our model today is the Barbatos Lupus Rex ver. Hikaru 11.

In case you don't know, Hirasawa Hikaru is an Indonesian Papercraft designer. He has a lot of Gundam designs and many IBO Gundams (as in the list above). And for Xiangpeng Chen, a Singaporean Papercraft Enthusiast. He built many Papercraft, and they're excellent, including this one.

The Papercraft will cost you $35 to buy. Contact the designer if you want to buy it. The Papercraft has its own inner frame just like the Gunpla, and then will be covered by white armor.

Even the Inner frame itself is a masterpiece.

After making all these parts (quite time-consuming), the next thing is to make all the white, yellow, blue, red,.. parts. Then comes the most interesting and satisfying step: glue them together.

... to this. Oh, and It comes with a base (It can help to hold the mace too).

The bad news is that Xiangpeng Chen decided not to make the mace so we couldn't see him posing with it. What a waste because all joints are movable. I want to see more pose from this. Of course, I couldn't stand well like Gunpla, but some basic heroic poses are obviously possible.

Detailed enough? Not until you see this. It has a cockpit that can actually open. Not sure what we can make use of it, but It's totally amazing.

You can actually put a mini figure inside this cockpit as a pilot

( Or as in the anime, it has enough space for 2 people. If you know what I mean)

Here are some pictures of the completed model. After all, Xiangpeng Chen did a great job making this Gundam. So neat and clean.Not sure If I can ever make one like this in my life. I'm way too lazy. LOL.
